Research
Describing the physical properties of living matter is among the most
formidable challenges in physics today.
My research is focused on a major aspect of biological physics:
transport and dynamics of water, ions and biological molecules at
interfaces and under confinement.
In particular, I am interested in fluid flow in nanopores and
nanofluidic devices, electrostatics in complex media and dynamics of
biological molecules under nanometre-scale confinement.
